About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Sales & Business Development professional with experience in the legal industry to help grow Patexia’s expert witness and legal services business.
This is not a traditional high-volume sales role. The position is relationship-driven and focused on working closely with attorneys, law firms, and legal professionals across the US legal market.
The ideal candidate understands how law firms operate, is comfortable speaking with attorneys and litigation teams, and has experience selling or supporting services within the legal industry — particularly around expert witnesses, litigation support, legal recruiting, legal research, or other attorney-facing services.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and helping law firms connect with the right experts and legal solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with attorneys, law firms, and legal professionals across the US
- Identify new business opportunities related to expert witness services and legal solutions
- Conduct outreach via calls, LinkedIn, email, and networking
- Understand litigation matters and help match attorneys with relevant experts
- Present and explain Patexia’s services and legal technology tools in a clear and consultative way
- Work closely with marketing and leadership on outreach strategy and positioning
- Maintain and grow long-term client relationships
- Gather market feedback and share insights with internal teams
- Track pipeline activity and contribute to revenue growth
- Manage expert witness & case department teams
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Legal Recruiting, Expert Witness Services, or other legal industry-facing roles
- Prior experience working with attorneys, law firms, litigation teams, or legal professionals is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of how law firms operate and make hiring/vendor decisions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and business development
- Ability to manage longer, relationship-based sales cycles
- Ability to understand and discuss complex legal, litigation, or IP-related topics
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Interest in legal tech, litigation support, expert witness services, or AI-driven legal products
