Key Responsibilities\n

• Identify and engage individuals and communities who require assistance with behavioral health needs.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ situations, identifying their strengths, challenges, and support networks to formulate actionable treatment goals.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support clients in coping with various life challenges including illnesses, relationship changes, and employment issues.
\n
• Research, refer, and advocate for pertinent community resources—such as housing support, food access programs, and healthcare assistance—to enhance client well-being.
\n
• Actively respond to crisis situations, demonstrating capability in handling emergencies related to child welfare and mental health crises.
\n
• Monitor and follow up on client progress, meticulously documenting changes and outcomes in accordance with best practices in case management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population served includes students requiring behavioral health interventions, along with their families. As part of our focus on school mental health, you will be pivotal in addressing the unique challenges faced by adolescents, particularly in light of today’s societal pressures and changes. You'll utilize your expertise to foster resilience and empower these young individuals to succeed both academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university is required.
\n
• Active California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably with experience in educational environments.

• Experience collaborating with Veterans is preferred as our center also supports families connected to military service.
\n
• Strong skills in assessing psychosocial history, conducting case management evaluations, and performing risk assessments, including suicide evaluations.

• Proficiency in providing therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in school-based mental health services will be highly regarded.

• Familiarity with community resources and the ability to navigate systems effectively to benefit clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This impactful role offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees enjoy comprehensive benefits, including:
