You will make substantive contributions to the team’s impact on all aspects of building our infrastructure and world-class facilities. You will manage all aspects of the construction project, including planning, execution, and completion, while also maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders, and independently.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Providing field oversight and assistance, and creating a customized scheduleNegotiating contracts with General Contractors and subcontractorsDevelopment and management of all project documentationReview compliance with state and government regulations and ensure project or site location follows all guidelinesMust be able to manage multiple projects while being innovative and creative in challenging situationsPerforms site visits and monitors progress of construction activities regularly, and holds regular status meetings with all sub-teamsEnsure construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule(s)Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentation, presentations analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areasWorking with project teams to proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plansApproves all invoices and manage the billing processRepresent the Company in project meetings, client meetings, etc.Initiating, planning, completing, monitoring, and closing construction projects throughout their lifecycles, to include:Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Eliciting and documenting stakeholder requirementsIdentifying project dependencies, risks, and schedule impacts.Reporting project progress (status, risks, opportunities, roadblocks, and KPIs)Assisting in contract negotiations.Monitoring contractor progress via frequent site visits.Reviewing and approving invoices and payment applications.Evaluating and processing change requests and change orders.Assisting in resolution of payment or performance disputesSolve daily project issuesQualifications:Prefer B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project ManagementMinimum over 8 years of experience with complex facility construction and renovations projects to include both vertical and horizontal constructionExperience leading and managing small- to medium-sized teams integrating multiple subsystems to meet a top level system requirementStrong personnel management and mentoring skillsRecent facility development or management experience supporting mission critical operationsExperience in sub-contract management of suppliers including request for proposal, specification and statement of workProject leadership with the ability to work with stakeholders, knowledge of manufacturing operations, Launch Site environment, assembly processes, and quality controlProficient in project management software (Milestones, MS Project)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong project management, budget management and team leadership skillsProject planning, schedule and cost estimationStrong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operationsDesired:Experience with launch site, spacecraft manufacturing, Project leadership with the ability to work with stakeholders, knowledge of manufacturing operations, Launch Site environment, assembly processes, and quality control integration and testKnowledge and experience in Local and National CodesKnowledge and experience in Safety plans and programs to comply with laws, regulations and policiesCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
