Job Description As a Security Officer Security Screening in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor access, screen visitors and/or staff, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or delivery items at designated entry points while following post instructions and documenting screening-related activity as required. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and reporting concerns involving restricted areas or sensitive spaces. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location and operational needs. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
