Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Engage with clients through regular sessions to assess their progress, address stability, plan for upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring that they are centered around the client's unique needs and goals.

• Keep detailed and accurate documentation of client progress notes and treatment activities in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Conduct intake assessments to gather pertinent information and establish baseline data before commencing treatment.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, tailored to meet each client's specific needs and challenges.
\n
• Participate in individual supervision sessions for ongoing professional development and clinical support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. Your role will involve understanding each client's background and conducting thorough assessments to inform effective treatment strategies. By building a trusting relationship, you can help clients navigate their challenges and monitor their progress towards achieving therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is mandatory.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and diagnosis, as well as in providing individual and group therapy.
