Speech Language Pathologist - SLP Therapist
Empower Communication in the Sunny Shores of Florida – Become Our Next Speech Language Pathologist
Imagine a career where you are not only helping others find their voice but also making a remarkable impact on their lives. As a Speech Language Pathologist in the picturesque coastal city of Cape Coral, your expertise will transcend the usual scope of treating communication and swallowing disorders. You will embark on a journey of human connection, enriching lives from vibrant toddlers articulating their first sounds to older adults regaining voice and confidence.
This position presents a rare chance to touch the lives of diverse individuals throughout their life stages within an engaging environment. Your role will combine outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient responsibilities. Whether your passion lies in nurturing children's language abilities, addressing communication challenges in adults with neurological impairments, or aiding seniors in cognitive-linguistic recovery, this opportunity offers you the versatility and satisfaction you seek.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational insights.
Craft individualized treatment strategies targeting immediate goals as well as broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Implement tailored speech therapy programs concentrating on aspects of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing professionals, physicians, and families to establish cohesive care plans.
Educate patients and families to enhance progress and foster empowerment beyond the clinical environment.
Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring smooth transitions of care throughout the treatment process.
Accurately maintain documentation that complies with state, federal, and institutional regulations.
Engage in continuing education and peer discussions to stay abreast of evolving practices in the field.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still pending ASHA certification.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
Expertise in evidence-based practices suitable for all age groups, with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication abilities with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
Capacity to tailor therapeutic methods to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical acumen and innovative problem-solving skills.
Proficient with electronic health records and documentation protocols.
Competitive compensation based on experience.
Flexible scheduling allowing for a healthy work-life balance with a varied caseload.
Possibilities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Paid time off (PTO) along with holiday remuneration.
Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Opportunities for continuing education reimbursement and professional growth support.
A collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere that emphasizes quality care and continuous learning.
In this role, you won't merely provide speech therapy — you will join a community-focused mission committed to amplifying voices, enhancing communication, and crafting joyful experiences through the fundamental human principles of connection and understanding.
You will collaborate with colleagues who value camaraderie and collaboration, nurturing an environment that thrives on shared goals. Each patient carries a narrative, and we trust you to help articulate that story beautifully.

We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist who is fueled by compassion and driven by results. Someone who sees beyond mere speech, envisioning the limitless possibilities of self-expression, who hears the tentative words of a stroke survivor but recognizes resilience in their struggle.
You might be a specialist in pediatrics eager to embrace adult therapy services — or a clinician focused on neurological recovery who wants to incorporate pediatric principles into your practice.
No matter where your true interests lie, if you're prepared to serve with heart and lead with expertise, we are thrilled to welcome you into our team.
Join us in a mission that celebrates communication, rapport, and the bravery that comes with new beginnings. Apply now to lend your voice to our team — and empower others to discover their own.
