Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies.

• Provide regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive practices tailored to meet diverse client needs.

• Continually monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Serve as a resource for clients, facilitating referrals to supplementary healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when appropriate.

• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our secure EHR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals grappling with various mental health challenges, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in their recovery journeys, providing support and guidance through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in employing individual and group therapy techniques in a culturally informed manner.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure during challenging client situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and strong computer literacy.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training and experience in specific areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse treatment, or mindfulness-based therapies will be given preference. Additional professional development certifications can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
