Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Serene Paths Psychotherapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify diverse mental health needs, followed by developing tailored treatment plans in accordance with best practices.

• Implementing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the unique challenges presented by each client.

• Maintaining compliance with all regulations, including HIPAA, by keeping accurate records and clinical documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Engaging in regular collaboration with other mental health professionals to create comprehensive care plans and participate in team meetings to discuss case reviews and treatment approaches.

• Providing psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and local community resources to ensure comprehensive support.

• Staying informed on the latest therapeutic methodologies and research in the mental health field to continually enhance your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with children and adolescents within a school environment, addressing a variety of mental health concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues and trauma. You will be instrumental in helping students navigate their challenges, improve their coping strategies, and achieve academic success.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid California LCSW license to practice independently in the state.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a school or outpatient mental health setting.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with youth and their families.
