Sales Support Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Sales Support Representative for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, PR. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a bilingual sales professional who enjoys outbound calling, lead generation, customer relationship building, and supporting revenue growth in the Computer/IT Services industry.

The Sales Support Representative will work closely with sales executives to identify qualified prospects, manage new and incoming leads, support renewal activity, and maintain accurate CRM records. This is a strong opportunity for someone with inside sales, telesales, customer service, or technology sales experience who wants to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce product and service offerings and generate qualified leads for the sales team.
- Qualify prospects, assess customer needs, and assign appropriate opportunities to account executives.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential customers to support sales opportunities and customer renewal activity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Stay informed on technology trends, competitive offerings, and product value propositions to effectively communicate with prospects.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $36,000 per year plus commissions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Generate new leads through outbound cold calling and incoming lead follow-up.
- Qualify CRM leads and route qualified prospects to the appropriate sales representative or account executive.
- Support customer renewal activity, documentation, and sales follow-up.
- Maintain organized sales records and prioritize leads to improve conversion rates.

- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- BBA or equivalent experience preferred, with knowledge of customer service principles, sales processes, and basic business administration.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience in IT, software, customer service, or sales products is strongly relevant.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to work within CRM systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, employees, and suppliers.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, well organized, and comfortable working as part of a team.
- Passion for technology and a desire to help solve customer problems.
- Ability to handle different personality types while keeping customer satisfaction as a priority.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous inside sales, telesales, lead generation, or business development experience.
- Prior experience selling or supporting software, technology, or IT services.
- Familiarity with CRM lead management and sales pipeline follow-up.
- Extroverted, relationship-focused personality with a strong comfort level speaking with new prospects by phone.
