Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments to identify clients' needs effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges while employing empathetic listening skills to build rapport.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and case managers, to optimize patient care and share insights on treatment progress.

• Document all client interactions and progress notes in compliance with California state regulations and our clinic’s electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in professional development workshops and team consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on research in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, grief, and trauma. The therapist will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, including families and marginalized groups, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are culturally sensitive and relevant.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid LMFT license in California, with a commitment to maintaining good standing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in conducting individual, couple, or family therapy.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities with a strong emphasis on client-centered care.
