About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical and Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 year of experience in nursing Candidates with only 1 year of experience will undergo a manager review. Every other weekend availability. Float required within the unit. Call required. Two professional references required, with at least one from a managerial or supervisory role. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry. Position requires working nights with a commitment of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty. Mandatory certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Candidates will be required to float within the unit as necessary. Availability for weekend shifts and on-call duties is required. The ratio of patients to nurses will be 4 to 5. Orientation will be provided to familiarize with unit operations. Nurses should possess skills in managing various medical conditions and treatments. Experience with a computerized charting system is essential. Candidates are required to adhere to all compliance deadlines and credentialing processes. Proficiency in managing telemetry and cardiac patients is necessary. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
