Work Environment

The role is structured around 12-hour shifts, with rotating schedules designed for optimal patient coverage at all hours, totaling approximately 36 to 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients facing acute and chronic health challenges, utilizing both physical exams and available diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to formulate and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests while prescribing necessary medications and therapies based on clinical findings.
• Engage patients and their families through comprehensive education regarding disease management, medication adherence, and proactive post-discharge care strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient cases, enhance clinical practice, and ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic medical records (EMR) that facilitate coordination of care and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement projects within the hospital, integrating the latest evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner recognized by relevant certification boards.
• Active and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; a Master’s Degree from an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with substantial experience in acute or hospital care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 220,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
