Position Overview

We're on the lookout for an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a cornerstone of our growing team, dedicated to providing outstanding imaging services. Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout exams, delivering explanations with both clarity and empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of top-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment vigilantly, addressing technical issues promptly as they arise
• Document procedures accurately while keeping patient records up-to-date in the electronic medical system
• Commit to ongoing education on advances in ultrasound methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification recommended
