Description We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Anesthesiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of various medical procedures and surgeries, making a significant impact on patient care and outcomes. As a Locum MD or DO in Anesthesiology, you will be involved in diverse medical projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia during medical procedures and surgeries. Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety. Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room. Manage and document patient medical records accurately. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in Anesthesiology. Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding anesthesia procedures and post-operative care. Requirements: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Anesthesiology. Valid state medical license to practice as a physician. Proven experience working as an Anesthesiologist in a clinical setting. Excellent knowledge of anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30a-5p. No call or weekends. 8 ORs. Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia. Case Types: OB, neurosurgical/spinal, complex vascular, complex orthopedic, vent management, central and arterial line insertion. Will supervise 3 CRNAs.
