Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, with therapists visiting patients in their homes throughout the Lakeland area. Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance in line with company policies and legal standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, collaborating with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to gather comprehensive data.
• Create customized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique goals and continually assess and modify these plans based on progress.
• Utilize a range of therapy equipment, demonstrating proper care and maintenance while ensuring patient safety and comfort during sessions.
• Employ evidence-based treatment interventions to address impairments and disabilities related to accidents, diseases, and other health concerns.
• Document patient progress meticulously and ensure accurate billing for services provided.
• Provide education to patients and families, empowering them with knowledge about their therapy and encouraging active participation in the rehabilitation process.
• Stay informed of current regulations, including the State Practice Act, to maintain compliance and uphold professional standards.
• Recognize and communicate when patients achieve optimal outcomes from therapy, marking the importance of effective rehabilitation in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The therapeutic interventions will be tailored to meet age-specific needs, ensuring that treatment approaches resonate with the developmental levels and health requirements of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida; temporary permits are acceptable.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider are required to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

While experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred, we welcome motivated candidates who are passionate about physical therapy and keen to grow in their professional journey. Familiarity with home care settings or previous work with clients managing orthopedic conditions will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
