Work Environment

You will be working onsite within the clients' homes, which provides a unique and intimate setting for therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and personal therapy goals upon initial visits.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of advanced rehabilitation equipment.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans based on outcomes; document all interactions, observations, and changes in the care plan.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on exercises, use of assistive devices, and ways to effectively manage their conditions outside of formal therapy sessions.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements by attending workshops, pursuing certifications, and participating in professional networks.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to offer holistic care and ensure consistent support for patients. This may involve attending team meetings and case reviews.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Care, you will serve a diverse clientele ranging from children to older adults, including patients recovering from surgery, injury, or those managing chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills, along with proficiency in technology for record-keeping and patient management.
• Commitment to continuous professional development through training and education.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in a similar role within a home care or outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in developing treatment plans that address the diverse physical therapy needs of patients.
• Experience with assistive devices and adaptive strategies for promoting patient independence.
• Current CPR Certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
