• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work closely with a team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Provide essential education for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Keep precise and timely documentation following state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preference for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
