• Deliver specialized speech therapy interventions that focus on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to encourage continuity and progress during sessions.
• Assist with periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain a seamless treatment continuum.
• Ensure meticulous and prompt documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to professional growth by staying updated with advances in speech-language pathology through continuing education and team discussions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within a month of hire.
