Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive medical assessments by gathering detailed medical histories and performing thorough physical examinations, while utilizing screening and diagnostic procedures to evaluate patients’ health status.
• Establishing medical diagnoses and developing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Managing common illnesses typical in outpatient settings and referring complex health issues to appropriate specialists in a timely manner.
• Prescribing medication and initiating treatment plans following established protocols, while closely monitoring patient responses to treatments.
• Requesting and interpreting diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood panels, and other laboratory findings to inform patient care decisions.
• Maintaining meticulous records of patient assessments and care via electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.
• Providing education and health counseling to patients and their families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, and overall wellness strategies.
• Engaging in the coordination of patient care efforts by collaborating with various healthcare teams and facilitating referrals to external agencies when needed.
• Participating in continuous learning and staying current with clinical practices to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
