As part of an interdisciplinary team working remotely, you will have the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while fulfilling your passion for helping others. The position requires scheduling appointments during standard business hours, typically Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours based on client needs. You will be equipped with the latest telehealth technologies to facilitate effective virtual interactions, ensuring continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments for clients, evaluating their mental health status and identifying substance use issues to recognize co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that address their unique mental health and substance use challenges utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at developing essential coping strategies, relapse prevention plans, and emotional regulation skills.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate integrated care, ensuring that all facets of a client’s health are addressed collaboratively.

• Implement regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and support their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders and emphasize the significance of adherence to treatment.

• Keep up-to-date records of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case conferences and staff meetings to share insights, strategies, and build a stronger understanding of co-occurring disorder treatments.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use challenges.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
