Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who often present with complex needs, including veterans dealing with both psychological challenges and somatic health issues. Your role is crucial in delivering targeted interventions and emotional support to this population, which may include addressing PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and the impacts of chronic illness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possess a current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals who have co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries according to ethical guidelines, while ensuring utmost confidentiality for clients.

• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate efficient patient care delivery.

• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to promote integrated patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and familiarity with veterans' mental health issues will be considered advantageous. Proficiency in evidence-based therapies and integrated care practices is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
