Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their individual needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect the distinct developmental stages and family influences of each patient.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and other mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in creating supportive environments conducive to healing and growth.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists to ensure integrated care, participating in team discussions about patient progress and treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention and management during emergencies involving youth, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our clients.

• Educate families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to promote understanding and cooperation.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, trainings, and reading current research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. You will work with a diverse group of young individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Our objective is to not only address these mental health issues but to also support their families in fostering strong emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with youth and their families in a compassionate and nurturing manner.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of mental health documentation protocols.

• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining the confidentiality of client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, especially with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000.
