We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Sales/Account Representative, also known as a Vendor Rep. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and maintaining the visibility and availability of Boar's Head products in retail locations. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers while promoting our premium delicatessen products. Job Description:
● Conduct itemized check-ins of delivered goods with customer representatives
● Remove out-of-date products from shelves and issue customer credits
● Perform customer inventory checks and create orders based on inventory levels, twice per week
● Execute merchandising resets and identify opportunities for cross-merchandising
● Merchandise deli cases and retail planograms with accurate prices and date rotations
● Provide 1-on-1 training to customer employees on exceptional customer service, product knowledge, product pairings, and slicing techniques
● Complete assigned Go-Spot-Check missions to ensure compliance with brand standards
● Cultivate strong relationships with customers by actively engaging with deli management and personnel to understand their needs and challenges
● Conduct product sampling to increase awareness and drive sales
● Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned
● Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing businesses to strengthen our market presence

Job Requirements:
● Available to work very early in the morning (5AM -3 PM)
● Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
● Previous deli or supermarket experience is preferred, but not required.
● Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service preferred
● Ability to work well in a team environment
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
● Ability to learn quickly and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
● Knowledge of food industry and retail operations is a plus

Training and Certification Requirements (Will provide)
● ServSafe certification
● Deli scale operation and sanitation
● Slicer use, maintenance, and cleaning
● Proper slicing technique and product handling
