Position Overview

Rhythm & Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our esteemed outpatient clinic located in Metuchen, New Jersey. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our patients' rehabilitation journey by providing high-quality, evidence-based care. Work Environment

The position is onsite at our outpatient office, where employees work collaboratively in a vibrant clinic setup. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources to ensure effective treatment for our diverse patient demographic. Operating between Monday and Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with patients and other healthcare professionals in a supportive and enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including gathering and reviewing historical medical information and utilizing specific assessment techniques to determine their physical therapy needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient-specific requirements while adapting these plans as necessary in response to patient progress.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment activities, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations to ensure compliance with evolving healthcare standards.

• Engage in effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal recovery outcomes.

• Participate in discharge planning by developing follow-up care strategies and ensuring that patients are well informed about their treatment journeys.

• Attend scheduled facility meetings and contribute to discussions regarding clinical practices and improvement initiatives.

• Complete all required corporate and clinical training programs, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations related to physical therapy practice.

• Foster a collaborative work atmosphere by maintaining respectful communication with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders in the healthcare system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Rhythm & Motion, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will not only enhance their physical rehabilitation but also empower them to achieve their personal health goals through tailored education and support.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy as required by New Jersey regulations.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient clinical setting is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in contemporary physical therapy methodologies and techniques, particularly in outpatient orthopedic practice.

Compensation and Benefits

Rhythm & Motion offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
