Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager Salary: $75,000-$85,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager Job Description Sunvair, Inc., located in Valencia, CA, is a leading FAA- and EASA-certified aerospace MRO specializing in landing gear overhaul and repair for narrow-body commercial and military aircraft. Currently Sunvair is looking for an Environmental Health, and Safety Manager to manage and implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Primary Responsibilities Manage EHS Technicians on a day-to-day basis Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks. Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections. Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics. Monitors compliance with safety procedures. Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings. Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed. Maintains records of discharge of our employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required. Stay current with industry practices, information, and updates concerning local/state/federal regulations to keep Sunvair in compliance with various regulatory agencies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred; Three years of related experience is preferred. Office and shop floor environment within an FAA-certified landing gear repair station. Regular interaction with department supervisors, leads and management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
