Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, where you will engage with patients in our concierge medicine setting. Practitioners often conduct house calls, delivering healthcare in a comfortable and familiar environment for patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to accurately diagnose the origins and severity of pain conditions.

• Administer various pain management procedures, including injections and nerve blocks, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications to aid recovery.
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients to ensure they feel heard and supported in their healthcare journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner in Pain Management will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic, including those experiencing chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, and neuropathic pain. Many patients may come from underserved backgrounds, requiring a practitioner who is not only skilled in clinical assessments and treatments but also compassionate and culturally sensitive. Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner certification, with an emphasis on pain management preferred.
• Current, valid nursing license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
