Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services tailored to the specific needs of each client, utilizing methodologies that foster healing and growth.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized and comprehensive treatment plans that include measurable goals and therapeutic objectives.

• Advocate for clients by connecting them with vital resources such as financial assistance, housing options, and other essential social services.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, such as suicidal ideation, substance abuse crises, or trauma-related responses.

• Engage in ongoing educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness within the community, helping to destigmatize mental health challenges.

• Maintain detailed and accurate case records, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state/federal standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, including mentorship from seasoned professionals to enhance both your clinical skills and personal insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will be on a diverse array of clientele, primarily in the educational sector. You will be working with students and their families, addressing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. This role requires an understanding of the unique pressures faced by youth, coupled with a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid New Jersey LCSW license that allows for independent practice.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
