We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll File Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in managing and maintaining payroll data files. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of payroll functions while working closely with HR and finance teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage payroll data files for processing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Review and validate payroll inputs, including employee hours, deductions, and benefits information.
Coordinate with HR and finance departments to resolve any payroll data discrepancies or issues.
Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
Assist in the implementation and testing of payroll system updates or enhancements.
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll information at all times.
Support internal and external audits related to payroll data and processes.
Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance payroll file accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience working with payroll data or in a payroll support role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll or HRIS systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams. Salary : $29.00 per hour
