Purchasing Administrative Assistant

ZESCO also offers innovative space planning, design services, and installation solutions tailored to the diverse needs of the foodservice industry.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, for a Purchasing Administrative Assistant. The role includes managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing supplies, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring the timely procurement of essential items. The candidate will engage with vendors and suppliers, fostering strong communication and efficient relationships, while supporting purchasing operations for the organization.QualificationsProficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders and purchasing supplies for operationsStrong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal teamsExperience in administrative assistance, including organizing records and processesKnowledge of purchasing procedures to optimize procurement and inventory managementKeen attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and familiarity with inventory management systemsPrevious experience in a purchasing or administrative support role is an assetHigh school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business or related field is preferred
