Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,068 to $2,189 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (3x12s). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established nursing standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient data, identify care needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care with interventions to achieve outcomes.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, patients, and families; supervise and coordinate activities of other nursing staff as assigned.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care and outcomes in the medical record.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education to support safe transitions of care.
- Maintain a safe, healing environment, adhere to infection control practices, and promote quality care throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California required).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required; ACLS/ARC-ALS and PALS/ARC-PALS required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in ICU or acute care settings.
- Education: BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred.
- Additional: Ability to work in an ICU/acute care environment; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
