Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Sonora, California
Start date: 09/14/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week | Shift: 3x12 Nights | Weekly pay: $1,822–$1,891 per week | Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
This travel RN role supports a Med/Surg service line in a short-term acute care hospital setting in Sonora, CA. The assignment is designed for an experienced nurse who delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse inpatient population.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population using the nursing process
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and identify diagnoses and care issues
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care with other disciplines, and promote a safe, healing environment
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning and education
- Delegate tasks appropriately, supervise other nursing staff, and ensure quality documentation

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California or other applicable state)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting in Sonora, CA
- Vaccinations as required by the employer
