Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your primary function will be to deliver psychotherapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of students facing various mental health challenges. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to support the mental and emotional growth of clients.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintaining high professional standards.

• Working collaboratively with other members of the educational and clinical team to ensure that all aspects of a student’s mental health needs are met cohesively.

• Participating in regular supervision sessions and team meetings, contributing valuable insights that enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health issues, healthy coping strategies, and available community resources.

This role primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license to practice in Connecticut.

• A minimum of three years of experience in direct clinical practice, particularly in settings dealing with children or adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
