TransForm Automotive, an Amsted Automotive company, is looking for a talented CNC Set-Up Technician to help drive innovation, optimize machining processes, and support our world-class manufacturing operations. As a CNC Set-Up Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting machining operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives by:

• Performing production machine set-ups, including chucks, collets, tool bars, and blueprint interpretation
• Troubleshooting tooling, process concerns, and chronic machine issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity
• Investigating, developing, and implementing improvements to CNC machining processes to optimize machine capability, efficiency, and performance
• Replacing, repairing, and maintaining tooling and work holding equipment for CNC machines
• Supporting Engineering during APQP activities, including tooling and work holding development
• Assisting with automation initiatives by reteaching robots and supporting the implementation of automated manufacturing cells
• Collaborating with Engineering to create, revise, and maintain operator work instructions and manufacturing documentation
• Training operators on machining processes, preventive maintenance tasks, and new hire training as assigned
• Leading preventive maintenance activities, corrective actions, and equipment improvement projects within the machining operation
• Promoting and applying Lean Manufacturing principles while actively participating in waste elimination and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting departmental and company goals by contributing to operational excellence and team performance
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Following all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and electrical safe work practices

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing, technical, or trade school education preferred
• CNC programming and machining experience
• Experience with tooling, work holding, machine troubleshooting, and process optimization
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and quality systems
• Strong computer and technical skills
