Our work setting is primarily remote, allowing our team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing outpatient services to clients in El Monte, California, and beyond. Given that we operate in a hybrid model, our counselors can enjoy the flexibility of remote therapy sessions while having the option to utilize our outpatient office facilities when necessary. This innovative approach enhances collaboration while ensuring a conducive therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
\n
• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adeptly managing various group dynamics to promote healing and understanding.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies for better outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, ensuring that services provided are at the forefront of mental health care advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals and families with limited access to mental health care, addressing a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
