Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a School Speech Language Pathologist in the thriving Keller, TX area! Two onsite contract positions are available to support students district-wide, running from ASAP through late May 2027. This is a district-wide opportunity, with specific caseloads to be determined.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Texas SLP License (CCC strongly preferred)
- Prior experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting
- Ability to supervise SLPAs onsite (preference given to candidates willing to take on this responsibility)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultative services to students across various grade levels
- Collaborate actively with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student progress and support
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite, offering guidance and feedback as needed
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student response and progress
