Job Description
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognition, and daily activities.
  • Engage in Team Collaboration: Work closely with your peers including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Equip patients and their loved ones with the knowledge needed to support long-term success at home.
  • Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment ensuring patients stay aligned with their goals.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Encouragement and support for continuing education and advanced certifications
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
Skills
