Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Medical-surgical experience, including experience with various respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, GI illnesses/diseases, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin gtts.

Unit Details: Unit support includes clinical coordinators, unit secretary, PCTs, and case management. Uses walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule. Falls into holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Floating falls into rotation with other staff.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
