What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care to adult patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting hematology/oncology services
• Manage both benign and malignant hematology cases
• Support patients across the entire spectrum of hematology and oncology treatments
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning in a hospital setting
• Document care and communicate effectively using EPIC EMR system
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

What You Need:

• Valid Minnesota medical license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient hematology and oncology experience
• Strong clinical knowledge of benign and malignant hematology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

About the Assignment:

Join a hospital with a 686-bed capacity, committed to delivering comprehensive hematology/oncology inpatient services. The successful NP will support a team focused on hematology patients, including those with benign and malignant conditions. While the bone marrow transplant program is being developed, a working knowledge of hematology is essential. The hospital utilizes EPIC EMR to streamline documentation and patient management. Support staff include APPs for inpatient care, ensuring a collaborative environment.
