What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics
• Manage patient assessments, including stroke and chest pain cases, with a focus on rapid intervention
• Perform IV starts, chest tube management, defibrillation, and other advanced procedures
• Support patients with complex conditions such as cardiac issues, trauma, and infectious diseases
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and ED team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Document accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Maintain safety and compliance standards, including EKG competency requirements

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years of ED experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS/ENPC, CPI/MOAB certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam and perform advanced ED skills

• TNCC certification highly preferred
• Experience with ICU GTT management and trauma protocols
