Seeking an HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support across employee relations, performance management, talent, compliance, and workforce initiatives. This role partners with managers and HR teams while developing deeper expertise in strategic HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
• Support employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and investigations.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on staffing and workforce planning.
• Assist with job descriptions, organizational changes, and workforce initiatives.
• Support managers with coaching, documentation, and performance concerns.
• Partner with HR teams on benefits, leave, ADA/FMLA, compensation, and other HR programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and applicable CBAs.
• Use HR systems such as Workday for data management, reporting, and workforce analysis.
• Prepare basic HR reports and track trends related to staffing, turnover, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in HR Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations roles.
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
• Experience with employee relations and performance management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and basic reporting.
• Workday and union/Collective Bargaining Agreement experience preferred.
