Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to address the psychosocial needs of patients.

• Maintain consistent communication with medical providers to communicate patient progress, challenges, and evolving treatment needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and document clinical progress notes in compliance with departmental policies and health regulations.

• Facilitate counseling sessions, including crisis intervention strategies, focusing on emotional and behavioral issues prevalent in patients undergoing detoxification.

• Engage families and support systems in the treatment plan to create a holistic support network for patient recovery, including discharge planning.

• Assist in program planning to enhance and tailor services offered to meet the diverse needs of our high-risk clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals struggling with substance use disorders who are currently engaged in detox programs. This population may experience complex mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or co-occurring disorders. Your role will be instrumental in helping them navigate these challenges and support their overall wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work is preferred.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington.

• A minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient setting with a focus on mental health or substance use issues.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English; excellent communication skills are essential.

• Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
