Job Responsibilities

• Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work cohesively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy interventions to ensure ongoing progress at home.
• Monitor Clinical Progress: Track and document patient developments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to keep them on track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certification

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
