Our center boasts a spacious and modern 5000 square foot sports medicine facility designed to create an empowering environment for both patients and staff. Our team is comprised of experienced practitioners dedicated to delivering the highest level of care, primarily to patients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

Located in the scenic region of Chula Vista, our facility provides a collaborative and supportive team-oriented atmosphere. You will be working onsite alongside a small yet efficient team, including two fellow physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to understand individual needs, develop treatment objectives, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically serving one patient per hour, ensuring each session meets the standards of quality care.
• Design and modify evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic methodologies, such as manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Educate patients about their conditions and empower them with alternative solutions to pain management, including minimizing reliance on medications.
• Motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process, focusing on improving their functional abilities and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of care delivered.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, discussing treatment progress and ongoing needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation for a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. You will engage with clients who are motivated to improve their mobility and overall functionality following surgery or injury, often from private insurance backgrounds. Your role will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no instances of disciplinary actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Acquaintance with electronic medical records (EMR) software platforms, such as WebPT.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.

Compensation and Benefits
