Criminal Law Paralegal

Strata Legal Talent is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a law firm in Livingston, New Jersey seeking an experienced Criminal Law Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned New Jersey criminal law professional to take on a meaningful role within a busy practice. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys on a broad range of criminal matters and play an integral role in case management from start to finish. The firm offers a collegial, team-oriented environment and is seeking someone interested in building a long-term career with the practice. What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant handling New Jersey criminal law matters is required. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative. Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word. Spanish language skills are a plus What You’ll Do Support attorneys throughout all phases of New Jersey criminal matters. Prepare pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents. Maintain case files, calendars, and court deadlines. Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Provide day‑to‑day litigation and administrative support to the legal team. Qualified candidates with verifiable New Jersey criminal law experience are encouraged to apply.
