Location: Muskegon, MI

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you looking to build your welding skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment? We're seeking an entry-level Fabricator to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll perform tack welding and support production while following quality and safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include:

• Form and shape metal components using hand tools, rollers, and other fabrication equipment.
• Bend and manipulate material to meet required shapes and specifications.
• Read and follow basic work instructions, measurements, and job specifications.
• Measure, align, and fit materials to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect completed work for basic quality requirements.
• Use hand tools, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Learn additional fabrication skills over time, including basic welding techniques.

In addition, you will be expected to follow all safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and assist with other production duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• Previous fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or other hands-on experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and learning new equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn additional skills, including welding.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic measuring and math skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work accurately with your hands.
• Ability to work safely as part of a team.
