Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health issues, strengths, and areas requiring support.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy employing evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, encompassing specific therapeutic goals and interventions.
\n
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with educators, parents, and other healthcare providers to ensure well-rounded and coordinated support for clients.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups that empower students to express themselves and learn coping strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and develop risk assessment and safety plans proactively to ensure student safety and stability.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents within school settings. You will work closely with students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• A strong foundation of knowledge in therapeutic strategies and a commitment to employing evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to effectively engage with students and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient environment, specifically working with children and families.

• Experience within school-based mental health programs is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing mental health practice in school settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
