• Assist in the collection of specimens and meticulously prepare samples for analysis when needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new personnel or students, and uphold high laboratory standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the entire duration of employment.
