System Administrator – Managed Services TeamThe System Administrator – Managed Services Team is primarily responsible for working in a team environment in a mentorship capacity. The System Administrator – Managed Services Team will handle escalation requests via team members on the service desk team and field engineers. All our engineers are responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving their computing experiences through effective maintenance, problem identification and resolution activities, as well as growing and developing the organization's perception with existing customers through exceptional customer service.The System Administrator – Managed Services Team must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies, management, and maintenance processes. The System Administrator – Managed Services Team position requires dedication, persistence, effective utilization of provided resources and the ability to deliver superior customer service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Implementation and support of virtual platforms built on Microsoft's Hyper-V, VMware, or Cloud Servers such as AWS/Azure.Design, implementation, Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applicationsExcellent knowledge with email solution in area of implementation, configuration and administrationStrong knowledge of Microsoft networks including the administration and management of Server 2012 through 2019 technologies including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group PolicyRemote access solution implementation and support: VPN and Terminal ServicesImplementation and support of disaster recovery solutionsSystem documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendationsProvide third-tier escalation support and mentorship to other engineersStrong knowledge of Backup SolutionsStrong understanding of remote solutions such as Remote Desktop Services and CitrixExcellent knowledge of network Storage SolutionBasic knowledge of network services: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and securityMinimum Experience and Certifications:Minimum 5 years IT experience with IT administration and support experience with windows administration and management of servers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy and virtualizationExperience with cloud technologies preferredPrevious Experience in a fast-paced consulting or MSP environment as plusKnowledge on SharePoint services is preferredEducation and Certifications:Bachelor's degree desiredPreferred Certifications: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, VMware (VCP), Azure (AZ900/104) are helpfulAdditionally, an ideal candidate will possess:Strong consulting and communication skillsConfidence and experience in front of clientsStrong ability to work in a team-based environmentAbility to be a self-starter and possess good time management skillsBenefits:Health, Dental, Vision insurance401k MatchBasic Life/AD&DShort and long-term disabilityEmployee Referral ProgramVacation TimeVoluntary Benefits*Actual salary for System Administrator – Managed Services Team to commensurate with experience* Bowman Williams
