This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to practice telehealth and in-person counseling within our community health clinic in Edinburg, Texas. Our community health clinic environment is collaborative and supportive, designed for both telehealth and face-to-face interactions. We maintain extended operating hours, opening from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, ensuring that our team can provide care when it is most needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment paths.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to patient needs.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate healing, teach coping mechanisms, and support clients in processing their trauma.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive patient care across services.

• Provide crisis intervention, ensuring timely support during trauma-related emergencies and educating patients about trauma responses and available resources.

• Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential records adhering to legal and ethical standards, while also participating in case consultations and ongoing training in trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance care quality.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, with opportunities for guaranteed annual increases and additional bonuses.
