This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that you can provide either teletherapy or direct outreach support when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history, identifying appropriate therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and building resilience, ensuring alignment with each client's unique therapeutic goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients navigate their trauma experiences, improve coping strategies, and foster personal healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care plans that support comprehensive treatment for each individual.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the immediate safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available for further support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate patient records.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic approaches and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals who are navigating traumatic experiences, including but not limited to those affected by abuse, neglect, loss, or other distressing life events. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives by guiding them through their healing process and equipping them with skills for long-term resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy, and effective communication with clients and team members.
\n
• Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and maintain a strong patient-focused approach at all times.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications relevant to counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling.

• Prior experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Ability to see couples and willingness to undergo additional training provided by the organization.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a structured compensation package that includes guaranteed pay, annual increases, and bonus opportunities.
